India, also known as the Republic of India is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country (with over 1.2 billion people), and the most populous democracy in the world. It is bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal on the southeast. It shares land borders with Pakistan to the west; China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the northeast; and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east.

The economy expanded in the 17th century in the Mughal Empire. In the mid-18th century, the subcontinent came under British East India Company rule, and in the mid-19th under British crown rule. A nationalist movement emerged in the late 19th century, which later, under Mahatma Gandhi, was noted for nonviolent resistance and led to India's independence in 1947.

In 2017, the Indian economy was the world's sixth largest by nominal GDP[20] and third largest by purchasing power parity.[16] Following market-based economic reforms in 1991, India became one of the fastest-growing major economies and is considered a newly industrialised country. However, it continues to face the challenges of poverty, corruption, malnutrition, and inadequate public healthcare. A nuclear weapons state and regional power, it has the second largest standing army in the world and ranks fifth in military expenditure among nations. India is a federal republic governed under a parliamentary system and consists of 29 states and 7 union territories.


According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Indian economy in 2017 was nominally worth US$2.611 trillion; it is the sixth-largest economy by market exchange rates, and is, at US$9.459 trillion, the third-largest by purchasing power parity, or PPP. With its average annual GDP growth rate of 5.8% over the past two decades, and reaching 6.1% during 2011–12.


India is one of the world's fastest-growing economies.However, the country ranks 140th in the world in nominal GDP per capita and 129th in GDP per capita at PPP.


India has a loto of challenges to solve before it become a real superpower. With the emergence of the middle class, India will need serious infrastrucutures. So the governement and private developers are building some mega projects that will not only accomodate 1.3 Billion people, but that will also change India's face forever. The dream to see India as a superpower is becoming a reality. One day, India will be the most opwerful and advaned economy in the world. It will even surpass China.

Here are India's future mega projects that will change its face.

1- Skyscrapers- Mumbai will have new skyscrapers that will modernize the city skyline. Mumbai will have a skyline like Shanghai, Singapore, New York or Toronto.

2- Infrastructures Mega Projects. Many new infrastructures projects will simplify the lives of Indians. New highways, new airports and more will be built to accommodate its big population and to facilitate business too. better infrastructures will greatly improve business and facilitate the speed of trades. It will result in a better productivity.

3- Transport mega project : a new high speed rail line is under construction for 2023. A new hyperloop line is also under developement for 2026. It could be the first hyperloop in Asia.

4- Smart cities mega projects: 100 new smart cities are under construction or under development in the country.

5- Become a developed country and a new superpower. India is still a developing country in different point,but could become a developed country very soon. It could reach this status in the next 20 years. After,India could become the most advanced country in the world and could overtake China by 2050.

India in 2050 will be stunning, powerful,,developed and beautiful.
Finally poor countries could catch up their lateness by developing themselves finally.
